To a friend who is miles away...

It's funny how you can know

A person for along time

Just thru writing and 

Meeting once a year

And still not really know

The inner form at all.

More strange still the 

Friendship can grow.

That's why I so appreciate

The way we've been able

To open ourselves to each other

In complete confidence and trust.

Coming from different beliefs

And family backgrounds.

Nothing can change our

True and loyal friendship.
