Deepavali

This week my focus will be on Deepavali!

Last weekened was a hectic one as I had to help mom with preparation of Deepavali sweets and help dad with house cleaning!!

We started making murukku at 10am, sharp 10am, on Satuday morning. Mom had told us one month ahead that 10/10/2009 will be murruku making day! It took us about 6hours to make about 1000 pieces of murukkus. Well, murukku is my mothers speciality! She has her own secret recipe! (wink! wink!). Then, we moved on to nai urundai and ateresam!

The following day was house cleaning day!! Need I say more on this....

Well, it is going to be a quiet Deepavali. Good food! Watch TV! Sleep! lol....enjoy.....
